Default Rear wiper blade

Greetings everyone
I was at the local Wally World last Sunday and decided to purchase a wiper blade for the back window of my 09 Rondo.
Looked it up in their book that specified a 16 in blade. Purchased said 16 inch blade, went out to my Rondo to install it and found myself looking at a rear wiper blade that was different than anything I usually see. Is this rear wiper blade a dealer only item , or can a new blade be fitted into the existing holder?

I have put refills into the rear blade, but it is a pain to do. I basically cut down a longer refill to do it. I buy the refills from Advance Auto. They are one of the few places you can still buy a blade refill.

This
Trico Trico
should be an exact match for the rear wiper on the Rondo. I have not personally ordered this one, but from searching forums, this should work great.

Anco makes the same exact fit blade as Trico. They do fit and take like 30 seconds to change. Don't bother with refills for a $10 blade.(might be less there) The Anco number is AR-14A and I think the Trico is similar. I'm sure a good local auto parts store will be able to fix you up.

I bought the complete unit head and blade at Canadian Tire exactly the same as the original factory unit for $12. Can't remember the brand name, but normal stock item.

there are at least three brands (including Valeo) that make rear wiper blade (arm) for Rondo - those which I found at Amazon.com

www.kiatechinfo.com USA - free service, manuals www.kia.ca/kia-owners-manuals Canada www.kia-hotline.com Europe (paid service!) www.kia.ca/pages/owner/OwnersManual.aspx?lang=en manuals - must pick model, Canadian version - for free

I ordered some Anco 19-14 wiper blade refills today, so I'll see if they work on the rear blade. I test fitted a 19-24 just to make sure the 19 series matched up and it did, so we'll see.

Got the
Anco 19-14 Anco 19-14
refills in. While it took a good bit of work to get them in the bracket, they do work and at ~$4 each, it's not a bad deal.

Not to be critical, but, you had to spend $8 for a set of two in order to get one for the rear, right? The exact fit rear blade is only $11.

Was that "good bit of work" really worth saving $3. Anyway, I'm glad it worked for you.
