Well, I've got an 09 LX I4 this weekend and it was built in 06/08. It's got 15K miles on it so I'm not sure when Enterprise got it.
One of the local dealers now has 7 or 8 09s on their lot, several are EXs and they all have the 3 row seating. I want an EX, but only a 5 seat one, from the Kia web site it looks like they come either way. Has anyone had any experience talking to a dealer about this - or seen an 09 EX with the two row seating ?? ?? ??

well, congratulations Steve A, you've finally done it, as I know you've been offering your thoughts on this forum for sometime without purchasing one - just like I did before my purchase.
Yes, mines a EX 5-seater but '08 model, but I've seen lots of 5-seater '09's at my local dealer - that's if you can dig through all the snow to find them

Guys, is it related to wax?
I hope Steve will wash and wax his new ride
I recommend Turtle Wax. Works well - relatively inexpensive and seems to do ok for semiannual waxings.
Didn't mean to be misleading in the above post, haven't bought one yet, the LX was a rental for weekend.
Do intend to buy one - assuming the 09 prices aren't out of line - as soon as I find a dealer with the previously mentioned EX-V6 in Molten, black interior and a 5 seater.
Finally done...
Little more than three hours and here it is.
I used Meguiar’s NXT Generation® Car Wash and NXT Generation® Tech Wax® 2.0.
It is very easy to apply and even easier to polish/buff.
Unfortunately silver is not the best color... but you can see some nice reflection.
Side note...
I did it on Sunday, and guess what. On Tuesday started raining...

Biannual Wax?
Does biannual wax mean you only wax your car twice a year?
I wash and wax my Carens every week.
Turtle wash and wax , then turtle wax colour polish (mines red ).Looks really shiny and the rain just rolls off , makes cleaning it easier as well. I polish the wheels with MER polish , but I will invest in some wheel wax.
Is the Biannual wax different to normal wax/polish as we call it?
Mudds
I think some chrome covers on the fixed roof rails would look nice.
