I have the Rondo EX Premium 7 seater 2008 and there is an annoying noise coming from the driver side window, it sound as if the window wasn't close properly, the dealer change the window channel, window stripping and the rubber around the door but the noise is still there, now the dealer is saying that the noise is normal but I have test drive other Rondos and there was no noise, I cover the where the noise appear to be coming from with duck tape (see picture in red is where the tape was) and the noise stop, how can I get the dealer to fix this now that they are saying its normal?
Anybody else with this problem?

we have the same noise, I thought it was from the mirror, have to investigate
I have the same noise, same place. Dealer showed me the stripping had been "sliced" and is blaming it on the tint installers. After they replace it, I'll let you know if it solves the problem.
I have it on both sides since day one - more pronounced as you go over about 60KM/hr ....first complaint, they said they checked it with soap, no problems, and sent me home. Second complaint, they said the doors needed adjustment, they tightened the latches and/or hinges and sprayed silicone. Was better, but not OK, for about a week. Silicone dried out, and the problem returned. Third visit, they tested with soap (same as the first time) and this time found leaks in the stripping around the front of the windows. New stripping has been ordered, but I am just to beat to go and have them changed...need to do that and see if that fixes it.
I hear it too, it's only when we go over 40 mph and i believe the sound is coming from the antenna that is on the top of my rondo, it is rubber and seems to wobble at high speeds. Just my thoughts on the subject....
Would warranty cover this sound or possibly an antenna replacement? We just purchased our car two weeks ago. Rondo 2008 LX V6.
I do hear it too. Although I do not think its something really bad. I need to admit that the sound is not the same. It depends on weather. Really. There are days when I do not almost hear it and there are some when it is pretty loud.
Another thing though which I observed is noise from rain.
When water droplets hit the side window strip they make sound like someone was knocking...
PLP
The noise does change based on weather conditions...few days ago the windows were iced over, and everything was quiet. Mostly when it is raining hard, the wind noise is also muffled. I suspect this is related to the fact that whereever the gaps are where the air comes in from are blocked when iced over or too wet.

The antenna is on the rear of the car, over the hatch. Not sure why that would accound for the sound of wind blowing in through the front doors/windows....
You know guys, after I looked closely I do not think we can do anything about it.
It's just its design. The strip is wide, thick.
When you look on it you will see that there is a huge distance (well, huge means 3 mm) between glass and the door (metal part).
This gap (distance I mean) allows air to fall into some turbulence at higher speeds. When UrbanRondo used a tape to tape it - it did decrease the turbulence.
So at this point I do not see what can be done except using a tape or redesigning the whole structure.
