Has anybody ever checked to see if this is a problem with any other Kia models? I really think your best hope is to get a group together (start talking class action or something) and go at them together.
It is such a shame to me how the company is handling this. My Rondo has behaved almost perfectly and I love it, but I am so bothered by these stories it takes away some of my enjoyment of my car.

Sure, CAMVAP is only the first step and then I will go to small claims court, I would be happy with $10,000. I have used small claims court before and its really easy.
From my understanding class action suits are a pretty big deal and you have to get a law firm to carry the whole thing.
For my camvap and ultimately small claims court, it would be nice to get a private message from all drivers affected with this problem. This would be evidence for both and when i win my small claims case and or camvap (what ever that does) then you guys (especially the cdn guys) can use this as precedence and get 10 g's and skip the camvap step.
I still have to visit the member in georgetown so he can hear my car and i cant hear his car to make note that this is only certain rondos.
I will also be posting a sign in my back window somewhere to not buy 2009 KIA rondo, with this website mentioned.
Yesterday a very non windy day, but with a slight wind. I drove north of town in open fields and again heard the irritating window noise in at least 3 directions.
I went back to something disussed very early in this forum and put simple green painters masking tape along the bottom of the window overlapping the rubber seal and along the front widow part (8 inches long) and the noise virtually disappeared. Drove the exact same route.
What does this mean? I dont know but the noise can be stopped by doing this, but i still dont know if the wind is being driven up through this area from below or what is causing it.
It pretty well confirms the leak pro guys did nothing or didnt know what noise i meant?

Sounds like a plan. Lets get going.
Heck - I'd say just use Youtube.
Put a sign on your car and 1000 might take note of it. Put it on Youtube and 100,000 people considering buying a Rondo will know what to watch out for... don't embellish - just accurately accurately describe the problem and how Kia and their dealers follow up on that "don't worry about it - the warranty will cover it" statement the salespeople make.
I'd say their insistance that each of us is the single and only person on the globe experiencing this issue speaks volumes about the company and thier commitment to quality.
I've already tried putting tape along the front vertical part of the window, but hadn't tried along the bottom yet. If you remove the tape in front, but keep it along the bottom, does it make any difference?
I tried putting tape just on bottom, still got the noise. then tried just on the front and still got the noise. When applied on both, noise went away. I think its right in the front lower corner but cant confirm how far along you have to add tape. Will try again when I have time.
