Tail Light Assembly

Just thought Id pass this info on to those of us that have not had the misfortune of replacing a rear tail light assembly. Wife backed into the left taillight and broke about a 3 inch long by 1/2 inch piece and left a 4 inch crack in the lens. Went to my dealer to order the tailight ... $326 + tax .. OUCH! I said "what?" Looked for after market replacements. I recall seeing on one of the threads a website called KIAPARTS.COM .. the tail light assembly there showed up as costing $132 US .. said "YES!!" .. went to order it ... NO SHIPPING to CANADA.... I went to the body shop my dealer uses and they tried locating one at several wreckers .. no luck .. so beware this is a costly part!

Do not worry, I scratched and cracked front bumper.

I know you visited the kiaparts already, but it looks like they accept Canadian address; therefore, the should accept shipping to Canada (billing adress=shipping address)

If not - check the other two retailers.

BTW. Front bumper, cover only is around 200 +S/H, + paint (it's another 200 or so...)

Thanks PLP .. I will try the other 2 sites , as I went through the whole order process on kiaparts.com with billing address = shipping address and when I went to submit , it boldly stated that the site did not ship to Canada, that I must provide a US destination.

well get PLP permission. ship to him he's in Michigan and then get him to ship to ya via USPS and say its a gift, up to Ontaria. you just north of each other. I actully have a friend in us that I used to ship product to for my hobbie, then he just shippes it up to me via usps. would like a charm.

did you try e-bay I see them on there all the time....taillights that is.
