The blurb says you transfer the internals of your current fob over to the new one (if I understand it correctly), I'd certainly love 1, will try to do some research on the UK market Richard, wont be this week though as am up to my eyes in it here with a hospital stay last Tue & am moving home shortly!

Default Got it

Well, I finally got my flip key the other day. Took a while because it was back-ordered.

I'm a little disappointed that it seems to be 100% plastic, particularly given the almost $150.00 price tag Yeah, I know I'm crazy to pay that much, but I'm crazy--it's a good excuse for erratic behavior!

Have not had the key cut yet; I'll have to go to an actual locksmith for that, as hardware stores in the area all seem to use that darn Axxess system and they don't have Rondo blanks.

The switchover of the remote-clicker parts went smoothly, just like in the very clear photo instructions with Korean text.

If anyone else is considering, be forewarned that the thing is big--1.5"W X 2.75"L X .5"H.

Still, it's a nice little gadget and life is all about the gadgets, right?

I looked for a flip key and i found that :ÔóÔóÌÃÆû³µÔ¿³×¸Ä×°Íø--ÉÌÆ·Ïêϸ×ÊÁÏ
The guy sells on ebay and the price is much better than the one from koreanimports.
From pictures the quality is very good too - it has real metal finish.
you can get it from here : W-8.us :: Hide Your Real Links Option Enabled

Wow, that is a lot cheaper! The seller doesn't say specifically that he will provide a blank suitable for the Rondo, though; a couple of other flip key sellers don't have that blank. I'll ask the seller and see what he says. Could always use a spare, after all.

Well, I emailed the seller and this is the reply I got:

"hello sir,the key shell owns a special blade with it and i will send another one,so you can show me your key blade if you worry about it.
you can show me your blade picture if your worry about it.

thank you very much."

I guess that means I can send a picture of my key to make sure I get the right blank. Seeing as how these are pretty cheap, I may just go ahead and order one.

Does the original key has an immobilizer system built-in?

I don't get it. How can you get this after market key to work with the immobilizer?
