Now the KIA has an RFID chip in the key so you can't start it with a VIN cut key, but lets not test this one....
To my knowledge KIA Rondo does not have RFID chip in the Key( Engine Immobilizer). May be EX, not sure, LX does not have in US.

And about the pulling, I did test yesterday on highways to make sure pulling is still there. Yes it is still there, but it is more pronounced on highways( may be because of speed).

I need to call dealer and let them know.

Thanks

My V6 EX Luxury 7 seater has pulled to the right from day one!
It is worse when the vehicle is loaded with people. The dealer did a 4 wheel alignment on it and found that the rear wheel camber angle was way out of spec.
This did improve the problem from occuring but sometimes it will still pull to the right on some road surfaces.
I had this problem with a 85 Dodge Caravan from new and it could not be completely eliminated as the dealer said this was an inherant problem as the right side drive shaft was shorter than the left hand one and this caused this problem.
The Rondo V6 right side drive shaft is much shorter than the left side one so this may be a clue!
Unequal weight distribution on one side will also cause this problem, and this is normally corrected by having the heaver side spring rating higher to compensate for this.
I will not give up with the dealer until this problem is corrected.
I will be looking forward to other members comments!

Did you check, ie when you turn the key to "ON" without starting the engine. The Immbobilizer lamp (see picture) would be amber to showing that it is install and working and your key is OKAY to start the car....

Do you have the key less remote & Alarm? May be it is an LX vs. EX thing....

US Rondos do not have the immobilizer setup.

Narvo I was wondering how hard your Rondo pulls to the right and how often? Mine has pulled since day one also. Most of the time the pull is not that bad but when you get a cross wind on the left side or drive on a road that has a steep bank it does get annoying. At first I thought it was normal but now I am hearing all this complaining and I would also like to see this problem fixed. When I drive I use the weight of my left hand and rest it on the steering wheel to counter the pull to the right. I guess I kind of got used to it.

Yes, I use my left hand as well. You can actually feel it in your left hand when driving. It pulls in varying degrees. Sometimes it's really noticeable other times it's not so bad. When I feel it in my left hand and I let go of the steering wheel I can actually see the steering wheel move right and then the car goes right.

Another V6 owner complaining about pulling to the right! See a tread here! I will add you to the list on the 1st post. Thanks for sharing. Let's continue to share information to have this fixed.

Hi,I got my brand new Kia 25 days back and have driven 150 KMS so far.Yesterday, just by chance while driving i held the steering wheel gently and the vehicle was pulling to its left...yes to its left, not a big drift though.I was wondering why it was happening as i tried the same maneouvre when the vehicle was only 2 days old , and i remember thinking that the wheel alignment is good.So this morning i came to work and logged into this site for the first time.Ok,to cut a long story short.. can this be fixed? surely some solution should be there.

Welcome to the forum roshansriram. Please fill out your profile on what you drive and where you are located. You are the first to complain about a pull to the left.

You wouldn't be driving on the left per chance?
