Thanks for the pic, but how do I get the glove box to drop down?
each side of the inside of the glove back is two hand knobs, so a half turn on them (they can be very tight), pop them out, then on the right side of the outside of the glove box is a rubber pop on cord, pull that off. Wouldn't recommend doing this in cold weather. It does show it in your owners manual on P. 7/25
Could you fill our your profile as to your location and details on the Rondo you drive - thanks.
Can someone please tell me where the pollen filter is on my Carens 2.0 CRD, and if it is easy to change.
Hi,
Did you ever manage to change your filter, I had a look today and couldnt see how the glovebox drops and once you have got that far, how you change the filter. It appears to be sorrounded by part of the moulded dash.
Greetings, first post here. I just did this job on the wifes series II, and it is behind the glovebox. You remove it basically by brute force- open it, and pull it slightly backwards and upwards sharply, and it should disconnect from it's plastic push-on hinges, you then twist it to fiddle it's rubber stopper arms out.
The filter is immediately behind and easily visible and just unclips, I had no trouble getting a replacement from the local spares place, Blueprint do them.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Mr Rusty & welcome to the forum. I know it's your wifes & I appreciate your sig offers the info, but could you fill out the bit on your profile with the year & model Carens please, it helps those of us who have been here a long time to see exactly what model your referring to with a quick glance to the left!
Having just bought a 2nd Carens (a 2003 Mk2) to go with my 07 Mk3 I'll be doing some of the service work myself so info like this is invaluable.
Mark.
