My Rondo is going to the dealer on Friday to check the alignment and wheel balancing. As well they are fixing a loose piece of chrome the Driver's side rear door.

I had the crankshaft pulley (AKA harmonic balancer) come apart at 1904 miles.

When I picked up my Rondo, the glove box had a scratch in it. My dealer asked me to bring it back (we noticed it on the final vehicle inspection) to see if they could buff it out. They tried and couldn't so the ordered an new one on warranty. Just need to have it installed.

1. ABS Sensors replaced due to the TSB about brake dust causing a malfunction. Scared the crap out of me when I blew through a 4-way stop cause the ABS was malfunctioning. You'd step on the brake and the ABS would engage immediately which increased my stopping distance. Odd thing I found with the Rondo is that if you pump the brake, it will NOT deactivate the ABS. I've driven a lot of different cars, and they all would deactivate the ABS if the brake was pumped.

2. Adjustment of the sunroof as it made a shuttering sound when closing it from the vent position.

Supacabby, did they find something wrong regarding the poor fuel consumption?

Thanks,
Philippe

Default Tire Pressure light and Hard Shudder

The tire pressure light came on and would not go off despite the tires were pressured up correctly within 2 days after purchasing Saturday before last. Then on the Tuesday after purchase I put it in reverse and started to pull forward and it had a strange 3 to 4 beat pause and go similar to how a manual transmission would do if you "popped the clutch" too quickly. 3 days later it has a brief 2 beat pause while decelerating into a redlight. Then on last Friday, while the hubby was driving it, it did the "popping out the clutch" feeling again. The "popping out the clutch"-like event happens first thing in the morning when it is very cold.
The dealership has the vehicle now, says they got the tire pressure light repaired but do not know at this point what the "popping out the clutch-like event" is and are going to continue to try to reproduce it.
Anyone had this experience?
