which includes the wonderfully descriptive phrase:
with no tendency to wander despite a very strong crosswind which was making the region's wind power generators turn like a Dak's propellers. Glad that South Africa has kept-up with the times.
I have to wonder what the complaint is about the I4 not being able to pass. That opinion has to be coming from folks that can afford to drive very high horsepower automobiles.
On our recent road trip, I passed anyone I wanted to. When I realized I was cruzing at 80+ mph, I slowed down a bit! I have to keep the Cruise Control on as much as I can, otherwise the red and blue lights will appear in my rear view mirror!
I'm not sure if tall people would have "genuine comfort" in the third row as the review says, because I'm relatively tall and my head touches the top when I'm back there. Then again, the review does say "1.8 metre tall adults" and I'm a few centimeters taller than that (or centimetres, since we Canucks are supposed to spell things the British way).
First, there was "little Ron" (thanks to hastingr). Now, we have "Mondo Rondo." Check out this review from the Dallas Morning News, with some out-of-place ironic comments about "going green" (not that I mind, since I also like going off on tangents--like right now ).
I place this in the growing "non-enthusiastic yet positive" category, where typically the reviews are not impressed with the Rondo's looks and performance, yet love its utility, size and value. Like some of you, I don't really get why those reviews say that the Rondo lacks power, because I haven't really noticed that. In fact, I've been pleasantly surprised by how much power it actually has.

"I realize that these two are not direct competitors, but as the lines among small SUVs, crossovers, minivans and weird tall sedans get increasingly vague, I'm not sure that matters much anymore."
Two rather (in my humble opinion) slight but positive reviews to add to the list.
I've noticed that some of you have dogs in the family. Here's a website that reviews vehicles from a dog owner's perspective: DogCars.com
Did you know that the Rondo might be considered a "gay car"? Well, I guess if you had too much time on your hands, you might discover enough clues, no matter how slight, to reach that conclusion, but the following writer seemed pretty hung up on the idea: AutoGuide.net - Review by Derek Price

In Motor Trend's SUV/Truck/Van buyers guide issue, they rated the Rondo 4.5 / 5 stars, which is excellent. Most vehicles they give 3 stars to. They liked the new market segment it created.
