My thanks also for showing us the pictures of the official Rondo floor mats. I think you've now increase the sales of those mats, as the one shown on the KIA Canada website is nothing like what you have just shown us.
I think you should contact KIA Canada and get them to amend their picture to show the correct one (didn't like what they showed and in beige too!) and also to state that they fit into the floor dowel to hold them in place.
In your computer catalogue for parts at the dealership, do they show you the correct version or did you not know till it arrived?
(just curious, as quite a few years ago I was manager of a parts department (no computer set up at that time, only catalogues), but it was in the RV industry - I always like things to be accurate, saves a lot of problems and hassles and increased sales!)

Partsgal, any idea if KIA came out with a 1pc all-weather mat designed for the 3rd row seat area? I went to my KIA dealer today and had to provide him with the part number you gave within this thread. He had no idea these mats existed. Thanks for all your help.

They are a two piece front, 1 piece Rear, though there is nothing available yet for the rear seats on the 7 seater model as far as I am aware.
The are a solid black, pant saver design. They actually look fairly nice in the vehicle and I did notice that they have the hole for the dowel that sticks out to keep the mats in their proper location which I think is a definate bonus over the universal aftermarket Mats

Hi Teri,
I tried to order those mats this week and my local dealer said that it's no longer available and have been replaced with the following:
Front: 99997331DF1
Rear: 99997331DR1
They have not seen it yet. Do you know what the changes are? Pics if possible.

Hiya
Yes it seems the mats have changed up in styles between the old number that I oridinally quoted, and the new numbers that you now have.
The differences between old and new as as follows:
Tne new mats aren't quite as high when it comes to the ridges for the "pant saver" style but they are still the same perfect shape to fit within your vehicle.
The rear mats comes as a 2 pieces whereas the original mats had a 1 piece rear that spanned from door to door that also protected the middle of the rear seat floor as well.
I hope this is some help
THanks

I believe Kia chose to go with this new style as they changed manufacturers of the mats and this is how they do the floor mats.
I too have the rear one-piece mat and glad I got it, but I guess the two separate rear piece would be easier to remove for cleaning as the one piece it a little awkward removing when its got quite a bit of dirt on it without spilling it back onto the carpet.
I must say they sure do a nice fit on the original molded carpet almost like its been "poured" on installation.

Based on the info provided on this thread, I swung by my local dealer to see if they had any single rear mats left. I'd been procrastinating, figuring I'd wait until the Fall. I ended up buying a complete set of mats, which included the single rear. The parts guy didn't know that the rears were about to change, but when he looked it up, he replied, "If I'd known that, I'd have ordered a load of them".

Thanks Partsgal. Based on the photos, I quickly called around to find the old set with the single back seat piece. Finally found a set after talking to 8 dealers. Most of the parts managers were not aware of the change. They are great. I'm glad I snagged a set!
Question for owners of these mats - Do you prefer to put them on top of you carpeted mats or do you remove the carpeted ones first. Looks like if you want to use the grommets, you will need to remove the carpeted ones.
