The positive terminal needed some cleaning. I removed the negative terminal with no problem; but, after removing the bolt to the positive terminal, the terminal would move. I was unable to completely remove the terminal itself.

What procedure to remove the positive terminal after loosing and removing the bolt from the battery?

I have changed a number of batteries and this will not remove, is there a trick to it, any information will be helpful?

Thanks!

I checked the battery, it is 12.6 V before cranking. What concerns me is the battery terminal on the battery, positive side top post has expanded and the connector moves; but, will have to open up the connector to remove it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

I did remove the negative connection and the battery secure mount and even tilted the battery towards the positive terminal. There is no give in the cable, I mean no give without removing the securing bracket. I will look at spreading the terminal connection; however, worst case scenario is letting the dealer take a look at it.

I will try and snap some pics and post them.
