Default cleared corners

I cleared the corners and painted the headlight bezels black. This is just a preview on whats to come seeming the passenger side headlight is not completly finished. That one will be installed tomorrow afternoon and I will take more pics then.

Once the headlight is removed you will need to remove the bulbs/screws that are on the back side of it. Then take out the top rack in your oven. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees. Place the headlights in the oven on a cookie sheet one at a time. Bake for 10 min. Once out of the oven take a small flat head scew driver and pull the headlight apart. Heating it up in the oven loosened the adhesive that holds the light together. I then removed all of the adhesive off of both pieces. Take the silver bezel out. At that point you can take the orange reflector out and paint the bezel black. I used a flat black high heat engnie paint. Then to put the headlight back together I used an auto/marine adhesive. Took me a couple of days to do it because I wasnt really in any big hurry to get it done. I waited 24 hrs to put the headlights back in the car so the adhesive could dry. One a scale of 1-10 10 being the hardest I would say this is a 4. It changes the looks of the front of the car alot. It gives it an aggressive look.

Here's what mine look like up close. I left the sides chrome when I cleared the corners. I have Silverstar clear bulbs in the turn signals now though so there isn't any yellow until the light comes one.

Man, both of those look way sweet.

I've got a little plan for my lights I haven't divulged yet (heh-heh), but I'm thinking I'm gonna have to do mine now- that just looks too sweet.

'Specially with the faster-than-you blue !!!!!

oops, forgot to ask- how did that effect light output at night? Can you see any difference in the pattern or effective light-length or anything?

I always thought the reflective surfaces around lights were integral to proper output...

It didnt effect the light output at all. The only reflective surface is the area right around the bulb.
