None of the links are valid anymore, or just not working today. Any chance you might repost the video?

I have access to a 2002 Rio that I have been tempted to take out around the cones. It couldn't do any worse than my front end heavy car with stick axle rear suspension that I have been running uncompetitively for almost three years.

How did you do in the rankings?

Sports Car Revolution on Speed had a Rio Cinco as an autocross project car a few years back. All they really did to prep it was to fab a sway bar, add stickier tires and put vinyl graphics on it. And they didn't really comment on how well it did at any events.

Sorry bout the links, I'm redoing the websites. I'll get them up on streetfire soon until I'm up and running again. The Rio has awesome potential on the track. My first time out I did poorly, but I auto-x regularly now and beat a lot of cars worth way more than mine. I have yet to get beat by a mustang actually. It all depends on the course setup though... a high speed course will give the porsche's and corvettes the advantage, but a tight course will let me walk all over them. I need more HP for the large course. I usually run better than the overall average times, but I need more experience in order to run with the miata's and rx-8's etc...

I'm hoping for slicks for next season, that will help immensely

I don't know how long it takes for SF to activate the vids, but there is all I can find right now.

From the sound of the exhaust and the gutted interior my guess is you are running in a prepared class, and probably quite a bit faster than a stock '02 Rio would be.

I like to see people do well in something other than a miata, corvette, evo, or whatever the is considered to be the "class killer" at the time.
