Did you sand before painting? What kind of paint did you use? That looks sick. Thats how the stock interior should be. Thats sweet.

I would also like to know what paint you used and if sanding was necessary. Does it match the metal trim on the steering wheel?

Sanding isn't neccessary when painting interior components at all.

Just take the parts out, wash them with warm water and soap, let them air dry, where gloves or be careful handling them.

2 or 3 thin base coats of primer (I have found black sandable primer by duplicolor works best)

3 to 5 uniform coats of the paint of your choice (Once again duplicolor seems to have the best results for uniformity)

2 to 4 thin uniform coats of top clear coat to seal the deal.

Between each coat wait 15 - 30 minutes depending on how heavy the coat of paint you put on the part. Just avoid overspray so you don't get build up or run spots.

I have done the interior painting of both cars I own. I have done caliper and drum painting, engine bay painting, and I have even powder coated my own wheels on my ford focus in Gunmetal Metallic.

Not saying I am expert, but I have learned from my mistakes

And when painting you need to take your time. There is no reason to hurry. Just be patient.
