K&N cone sits in the bottom of the stock airbox. Fits great in there and maybe the box blocks a bit of heat? Not cold-air, but...not much room for cold-air under these hoods. Sounds great under load and adds a bit of power. Don't mind the green wire holding it down I'll get a better looking tie-down under there soon. 3" pipe and authentic K&N filter...this mod was under $40.

$40??? That's it??? Man, even the OEM Replacement from K&N for the Optima is around $45. Where did you get the cone? Let me know.. I might go that way instead. thank!

Looks Good Mut I Would Remove The Airbox and All The Extra Air Intake Thats Not Needed It Just Looks Cleaner.
