My poor Pica - RIP

I had a tyre blow out a couple of weeks ago and my poor little Pica SE+ is no more.

I lost control of the car doing around 60mph, spun, came off the road, hits some trees, spun again and ended up in some more trees.

The first impact hit on the drivers door where the wing mirror came off and the window shattered. The second impact was on the front left of the bonnet which was completey crumpled. There was various damage to the rest of the front of the car.

I have to say though that I was really surprised at how well the interior stood up to the two impacts. Both footwells remained intact and the dashboard was only slightly dented on the drivers side once the door was opened. I could even still open & shut the glovebox.

I knew straight away that it would be a write-off and am very sad to be losing my lovely little car. I have, however, been pleasantly surpised by the settlement that my insurance company have offered me.

Car performance dropped when driven in hot temperature

Hi all. I just bought a pre-owned Picanto LX 1.1M 2006 at 40k km. I noticed recently that when driven during hot day where temperature can hit a high of 36 degrees centigrade, the engine's performance dropped. The engine's oil, transmission fluid, oil and air filter had just been replaced. Could it be that the air intake is designed in a way that it is taking in hot air which reduces the engine's performance?

Thank you very much.

Hello

When I change the gear from P to R or to D or vice versa, I hear some weird ZZZZZzzzZZzz (electric like) sound in the car. I was told this is normal, but is this really normal?
