Hey guys,

I just traded in my 2007 Sorento and upgraded (or downgraded, depending on how you look at it ;)) to a 2013 Kia Rio.

I had two sets of wheels, and I sold it on the winter set. So now I'm selling the summer set. These are 17" Kia OEM wheels with almost new 245/65 R17 tires.

I'm trying to sell it locally (Colorado, USA) on Craigslist: Set of four 17x7" Wheels with 245/65R17 Tires

I thought I'd leave a message on this forum as well. Drop me a note when interested :)
one question though? I am in the Eastern time zone of the country so I have the base clock set correctly however.....
when I open my navigation system and the map is displayed, the clock within the mapping system is displaying central time zone and I have not been able to find out how to change that to my own time zone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have not contacted the dealership just yet.

The transmission fluid is discolored (brown) and I am wondering if it is safe to have it flushed and new fluid put in.

Hi Everyone,

I've been around on these forums for awhile ever since our cars started being sold and needless to say this community has very much helped my car get to where it is today.

I wanted to create a thread that I can document my car and share of the different experiences and things I've tried that may help out the other Rio enthusiasts out there on their cars.

I named her Aoi which is used to describe both the colour Green and Blue. Green being my favourite colour and Blue being the colour she is . (I spell these words with "u" cause I'm Canadian...sorry).

Up to this point most of my modifications had been cosmetic so I couldn't justify making a thread but I'm beginning to touch some performance stuff here and there so here we are.

Enough words onto pictures!

The oldest picture I have of my car, I took it straight to my friends house for detailing from the dealership 5 hours later paint is completely sealed and waxed. Such a bad cell pic (Friend's C63 AMG in the back)

Here are the latest photos of my car! I will try to have pictures of mods as I have time to take pictures of them.

Thanks guys, I will update this as often as I get mods. Shoot me any questions you have!

We took our sportage in to a local mechanic and were told the ac did not work because of the control head. We paid $500 to have it replaced and still no ac. They then said we next needed a new body control module. We decided to take it to the dealership. They ran a diagnostic and came back and said the duct sensor needed to be replaced. Is there anywhere I can find instructions on replacing this part? The part is about $20 and they want to charge us $900 for labor.

OK got a car what was going for spares and repairs at a good price
Bit of rust and an faulty injector
Injector is sorted and car has a full not a few advisory but nothing major

So my temp gauge does not move yes a fraction from the left on the cold side
It does not move at all
Told my mechanic today who removed thermostat to see if it would help
Been for an hundred mile trip today car drove fine
I noticed there's quite a bit of engine brake when cruising at 80mph once I take my foot off the gas it Judders down to 70mph
Gauge didn't move an inch but I've noticed I've used lots of diesel
I put 45 pounds in around 35 liters and its had gone in 150 miles
Stopped at a petrol station to check fan still not spinning
I'm pretty concerned about my engine overheating
Its been pretty hot today in england also

My air con fan as seized up I believe the furthest away fan

I bought a 2014 Sorento EX Touring about two months ago. My family went on vacation leaving Thursday and coming back Tuesday so the Kia sat idle in the garage for almost a week. My wife tried to start the Kia for the first time today (Wednesday) and it was dead. She called for service and they jumped it. It didn't seem she had left anything on to drain the battery and she asked if there was a problem. The guy said no, this is normal if you don't run the car for a few days.

I am going to call our dealership but it seems to me that a new car with a new battery shouldn't be engineered to have it completely drain after a few days without running. I know there are a lot of electronics in this car but still. Any thoughts as to what is going on?

Hi - 2011 LX I4 AWD here. In the past week, I've had the car start shifting roughly in all gears twice (including from neutral to drive). Almost like an inexperienced driver on a manual. More pronounced on the lower gears, but definitely present on all gears. Will last for 5-10 minutes of driving, then will suddenly go away. Appeared that the RPMs were 500 or so higher than normal when this was happening and happened in both automatic mode and manumatic mode. Anyone have any ideas as to what's happening? Both times it happened, the car was cold and in morning/evening (when it's colder - that said, I haven't had issues before this past week and it was much colder not too long ago).

This has got to be the dumbest move since GM tried to make diesels out of gas engines. I only wish I had test driven the vehicle a bit better. For sure, I hope I get used to it, but after 2 weeks, I have to wonder about those in charge at KIA and WTF were you thinking??????

Now, most likely it's probably wiring, but i'm not very good with Kia's, just wondering if anyone has any ideas. And another problem is, when I used to put the bass up real high, the whole radio would shut down. Please help, I need my music! Any ideas at all, or tricks, or places i could check. I'm very handy, so if you even told me I could probably figure it out. Thanks!!

I had the dealer trouble shoot it and they opened up the engine and replaced some oil seal. It was a 4 day- job of dismantling the engine. All this to no avail. What could be doing this? Has anyone experienced this?

Hi,

I would really like to replace the speakers of my Kia Cee'd SW 2013, but I cannot figure out how to remove the door panels of the Kia Cee'd SW 2013.
I looked at the audio upgrade threads but this does not help me for the 2013 model.
I hope someone already upgraded their speakers and has some pictures on how to remove the door panels front and rear, and also the dashboard speaker.

Best Regards,
