OK,, I did it and heres how.
========================================
The
rear badge is only glued, but it must be heated quite a bit. Keep moving the dryer or heat gun as to not hurt the paint surrounding the badge. The badge is recessed slightly so getting a foot hold to start lifting is something that was tough. I did not want to scratch my brand new paint. I decided that I didnt care about the existing emblem and if I hurt it coming off , well so what. Glad I felt that way. It was messed up (distorted) because of the flexing needed to remove.. I used a straight screw driver as wedges and string etc wont go into the recess
There are no pin holes but there is not just a smooth flat surface. If you were going to leave it with no badge think again. Plan on replacing it as I did with a new one (custom). It cleaned up great but you can tell something does belong there.

The
Front badge was very hard to pull but very do-able. I heated it and lifted it and pulled outward and it came off. There are two alignmnet pins and glue but
NO SCREWS which is the answer I could
not find on the web anywhere.
Just take your time and use evenly distributed heat. You will not be able to save the old emblems.
I am uploading pix of finished project.
On scale of 1-5 it was a 2. for difficulty
Thanks
