Default 10 head bolts = $ 200.00 Can. !!

Check this out , we were just told that we should replace head bolts in our /01 Rio ( had to replace head) called Kia dealer, and was told that 10 head bolts would cost $ 200.00 ! another rebuild shop said that you don't need to replace ? not sure what to do ? these bolts are possibly stretchable? how can you tell if they need replaced? and how much are they in U.S ?

I specifically don't know about Rio's but it is a common practise by modern car makers to use stretch to yield head bolts and because they have been taken beyond their elastic limit when factory installed they should be replaced.
I have found broken head bolts on various makes when someone has reused nonreusable bolts. It may lead to premature HG failure.
