I am doing this how to. I just installed my kfxperforamnce strut bar yesterday...

Tools needed
socket wrench with a 14mm and a 10mm socket
allen wrench.

Start by removing the 2 strut tower bolts on either side. (but do only 1 side at a time) I started on the drivers side.

If you start on the passenger side you will have to relocate a ground wire. In the pictures below I show you were I relocated it....

Once you have the 2 bolts off of one side you can put the strut bar on this side. just put the braket over the strut tower studs. Tighen these 2 down just finger tight for now.

Move to the other side and remove the 2 strut tower bolts... Put the strut bar over these 2 tower stud and tighten down fully. Go back to the other side and tighten these down now to... Now you can also tighten the strut bar brackets to the bar.. with the allen wrench...

this completes the strut bar install... enjoy the tighter suspension up front.. carve them corners like no tomorrow!

Default Spectra torque specs

not to be pedantic, but what are the torque specs for the strut bolts?

It honestly doesn't have to be so specific. Ive never worried about torque specs doing a strut bar. To each there own though. Never had any adverse effects, Ive installed many strut bars.
