My Picanto clutch cable has broken and I am collecting a new one from the dealer in the morning. Any ideas on HOW to do the job, or am I the first to be doing this?

Thanx

John

Job done, did it myself this morning. It took two hours and was fiddly but not difficult (I'm a driving instructor and not a mechanic)! I did the job with the car on my driveway. I don't think it would have made any difference if I had used ramps.
For easier access, I removed the air filter housing on the right, and unplugged the wiring on the left. As I said, it was fiddly because I could only just reach the two nuts that holds the metal plate to the bulkhead, hence removal of air filter housing and wiring. For reference, I paid just under £25 including vat for the cable from a main dealer. Hope that helps anyone else that has to do it.
