every time we get into or out of our new to us sedona we get a shock and while listening to the radio we can sometimes hear a noise that isnt in the songs any help out there tia andy

I gewt shocked bad in my 05 spectra but no radio noise... cant do much bout it really!

I get shocked in my 05 Spectra and 05 Sedona too. Never heard any noise from the radio though.

You can get a static strap fitted to your car,it may not get rid of it totally but it will help.All it is is a piece of rubber fitted to the body of the car that rubs on the ground & is supposed to stop static building up on the car

You know, with all the dufus (amer. english??) problems going on, that might be a good idea for all Kias! I think I'll see if it fixes my phantom locking/unlocking doors.

My sportage shocks the pee out me everytime I get of it. I have developed an unconsious motion of closing the door with my forearm to stop it from hurting....lol.

It's just one of several endearing quirks that has emerged over the years.

LOL yeah, I've had my spectra for 2 weeks now and have noticed it more frequently lately. I wonder why it's so bad? Maybe the cheap thin carpet
