This is how to adjust Optima headlights:

1. How to remove the headlight. There are two 10mm screws. One is above the headlight and the other one is between the headlight and the highbeam headlight. Unplug the two harnesses that hook into the headlight and it is ready to be removed the car.

In the picture above. Twist the cap in the blue circle off so you can see how far you have moved the light. Then take a philips screwdriver and turn the black plastic screw that adjusts the light. Thats what is circled in red. Turn it right to make the light go up and left to go down. Then put the cap back on an put the light back in the car and it is all done. Its as easy as that.

Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

Do you need to take the light out or can you just turn the screw?

wow its been a while since I had the Optima. I dont think there is enough room to adjust it while its still in the car. You may have to remove it.
