Unhappy cerato 2006 poor mpg and performance

Hello My lovley 2006 cerato (katrina)has developed bad mpg (28-30 around town) and seems to have lost a bit of poke in first and second gear.

Apart from normal oil change, oil and air filter changes what else should I get garage to check out.

Is it worth running diagnostic as I presume katriana has engine managment system or is 30mpg about right for other users

30 mpg is right where it should be. A long as it runs well and you have no CEL, then there is no need to take it to a garage. I get 30 mpg, depending on how I drive it and I am happy with that.
