Default 64gb USB read error

Hello

I have a 2013 Kia. I used to have a Jetta before and I had an issue where the car would not read my 32gb flash card so I assumed that it was some garbage I got for cheap from Asia on eBay. I never tried anything else higher than 4gb in the Jetta. I got the same problem except I am more certain that my USB drive is legit.

Do cars not read certain size drives?

How can I find out the highest GB the car will take?

Did I possibly get another crappy drive? It's a SanDisk..same details on the USB as the 4gb one.

- ensure drive is not partitioned
- ensure there is no encryption software
- ensure file structure is NOT NTFS use FAT32
- ensure flash drive is equivalent to Class 6 or above for best read performance if planing on using 16GB or larger

Actually fat32 isn't going to work for a 64gb drive (but fine for 32gb). Format it as an "exfat" partition. That works on my Kia UVO unit.

Best,
