Default '03 Kia Optima Headunit Problem (Stock Infinity)

'03 Kia Optima - Stock Infinity Headunit

Just bought this car, and I am having problems with my stock headunit. Seems as if I hit a bump hard/fast enough, my headunit changes from the radio to the CD player. Sometimes it'll just lose audio for a second or two, but mostly go between CD and AM/FM radio. As far as I know, there was nothing done to the stock stereo. My girlfriend was telling me she saw a light near the manual eject button (for the CD player) light up every time it did it. Normally I would say screw the stock system, and replace it. But I want to keep the headunit OEM, and just do OEM integration. Not sure what error it's displaying when it does this, but I know there's an error. (Probably something to do with no CD.)
