Default 2003 Kia Spectra aftermarket Radio install

Hello I own a 2003 kia spectra and I bought an aftermarket radio.

Does anyone have a diagram of which wires to wire into the new radio?, so I don't have to go buy a wiring harness.

Welcome to the forum.

You can try the "ETM" section on the KiaTech web site (see my sig) for the schematics.
If they don't have a schematic specific for your car, try another model that looks the same as in most cases they standardise on the radio wiring.

I guess he'll only know if he can find something useful on the suggested link if he takes a look.

Another useful source of information on this subject is www.Crutchfield.com

Thanks for the replies. I ended up ordering a wiring harness before I could even start installing the stereo, the car now has electrical issues for the second time this year and is now at kia being serviced under warranty. I think the voltage regulator is at fault this time, last time it was just the alternator and they only replaced that. Hopefully I will get it back soon.

Where did you get your wiring harness?

Hope they sort out the electrical problems.

Can anyone tell me which wire is the remote wire on the deck? I have to run a remote wire from my stock deck to my amp in the trunk, but which is the remote? I've had systems in every single car I've ever owned but had them professionally installed, this time i'm doing it all myself.
