i see this question has been asked for other year spectras, but my girlfriend's spectra is a little different. the dash that surrounds the stereo continues over the steering wheel and to the driver side vent. does all that come off?

thanks in advance for any help.

Yes It all comes out.

Look for any screws, remove them. Then gently pull the **** out.
