I just recently got my 97 Kia Sportage. No owners manual..... My main problem is the radio, it is I believe the CD/Sterio that was origanally factory installed with the production of the Kia. My problem, I haven't been able to turn on the radio. Why? Because the very minute I do, the volume control counts up to the highest point and when I try to turn the radio down, it will not go down, Therefore, I must keep the radio off at all times. Does anyone know why this is doing this. I'v also notice that when the radio is off, I don't even have to hit the power button to turn it on, the touch of any button turns it on and the volume counts right back up to the high point. What can I do to fix this problem, Is there a code or something.. Someone please help, I need music while driving.
