Angry 2009 Kia Rondo Ignition key does not turn

Hi.
I tried turning my Kia on this morning (-22c with windshield) and it would not turn. I can`t even turn the key to the ON position. I moved the steering wheel to the left and right to unlock the ignition but still not working. I don`t know it i should buy one of those defrosting keys that you use to defrost the door in the winter (By the way, same thing happened when opening the door but got it opened after a few tries).. Help

Make sure the shifter is in park all the way. If it is, a little WD-40 just might help.

that's not that cold to create those kind of problems, try some lock anti-freeze. Have you a lot of standing water in your car from slush, etc? Do you not have the keyless entry?

My windows do freeze from the inside. But i might have had some water on the key (just wet from touching the snow) the other day...No i don`t have a keyless entry or a remote starter either.. i am planning on installing one just don`t have 350$ right now
