Question for Canadian 07Spec5 owners about new head unit install

I was wondering if someone can tell me exactly what I will need as far as extra parts go for installing an after market head unit in my new 07 Spec5? I have been told by Future Shop that I need a dash kit and wire harness but then A&B Sound said all I need is the harness. I tend to believe A&B sound because the Canadian spec5 comes with just a single din factory unit so it should be as simple as slide the old out and slide the new in, right?

Either way, if someone who actually knows what is needed can give me the info I would be very greatful.

on the 07 u just need the harness not the dashkit
