Angry Website Changes - Attention Site Host

since they redesigned this site one our critical information is now missing from our profiles on the left side - namely "Drives" portion, is this going to be corrected as this is extremely important to our discussions.

As anyone else noticed this serious omission?

Conwelpic,

I'm with you - knowing what people drive is critical to a meaningful discussion given the international nature of this forum. As a quick fix pending a proper solution I've put my drive in my signature - now let's see if it works!

Am I the only 1 who finds the new layout very slow to load?

I am continually having to refresh the page to get the data to load, particularly on the Carens forum.

Comments please.

NB: EVERY other site I use on a regular basis is perfectly OK so no PC issues here.

I have no issues loading pages here. Just as fast as the old layout for me.

I have no problems loading pages, but it's certainly a lot slower, and I'm sure those with slower connections like dial-up and GPRS/EDGE etc. will be having trouble.

The strange part is that it's slow even when re-visiting the same page, which should not happen because in most cases it should load a great deal from cache.
