Hello Administrator,

Why does this bl**dy forum insist on deleting words like Bl**dy, P***ed, S**T, H**L and so on in posts.

Yes I understand about not causing offence and all administrators must come down on offenders but common sense should prevail.

At least one of the above words has been around since the 1st millennium and the word Pi*S or Pis*ed are Elizabethan and came into common use as expressing something not straight from 1790 and S**T well that has been around since the cave person in one form or another.

Zero intolerance on offence absolutely but not silly censorship on mild swear words.

While spelling and grammar is not always at its best on forums and leaves a lot to be desired, no one can be perfik just loike whatt eye is.

Dash it all and hells bells Administrator can you not do something about it, we are after all adults and not Bl**din school children.

It's possible we have younger viewers, so the swear filter is there to remove the profanity.

Hello Spec SX,

You have either missed or ignored the point being made.

We don't talk like that, ( well most of us don't ), but we do on occasions express
ourselves that way.

It wasn't about grammar lessons either.

It was about people's posts being interfered with.

If your going to use the word S**T as you can by spelling it this way on this forum
what point is there in deleting ** young people can spell just as well.

On reflection however what make this site pleasant to use is you don't feel intimidated, if you post a question regardless of the obvious you don't get someone posting back telling you so by swearing at you.

I think we all know that some forums can be pretty fierce.

I was rather hoping this forum was about people and their Kia's.

I have noticed that the replies and views section of this post has been deleted, the point being made Administrator is----------?

Yes this forum is about people and their Kia's.
All of the other Kia forums I belong to are the same. Profanity is NOT ALLOWED!
There is a time and place for it and this isnt one of them. I hope I made myself clear.
