AFAIK: no. I have the Si model with the proximity key. It beeps when the ignition is in the ON state. I didn't see any setting to turn off the beeping.
If you don't want the warnings from this device leave the door open (so it beeps) and search for the speaker/sender...they usually unplug (replaceable device)...
Years ago I had a Plymouth Duster that wouldn't start UNLESS the driver seatbelt was fastened and an annoying dinging device...Both went away the day I got the car..
Government regulations require dealers not to touch these items but you can.

Grab your owners manual and look for the passenger compartment fuse block..
(look for "fuses" and that will show you where the fuse block is).
With the door chiming search for where the sound is coming from. When you find it you will be able to put your finger over the hole where the sound is coming from..That's the item you want to unplug.

Ok, I located the internal fuse panel. It's to the right of the steering wheel.
I tried to find the origin of the beeping, it seemed to me to be more coming from behind or somewhere close to the steering column. But it's hard to tell if it is coming from the fuse panel, with everything close to each other. It is very deceptive.
I will try again but I am doubtful I can do this myself. I have a mate who may be better, so may go to him if I have no more luck.
If the beeping your talking about is when the key is left the ignition barrell in the off position just to let you know the key is in the vehicle, all you got to do is open the door and on the body of the vehicle there is a button next to your latch (if im not mistaken)button where the door pushes when it closes. Just press it and close the door and the beep should stop while you and your key is still in the ignition barrell on the off position.
ps. I strongly suggest AGAINST disconnecting any fuses from the fuse box and disconnections as they all run through the same loom into the Body Control Module. An incomplete circuit could potentially cause a fault.
