Okay ...problem solved!!!

Got the new Multifunction Switch and 10 minutes later headlights are working.

Easy, cheap, fix.

3 screws to remove the upper and lower steering shaft covers.
Remove the wiring harness from the switch.
Depress a plastic tab on the side of the switch.
Slide the switch unit off the bracket track.
Unit slides in and out of a solid bracket attached to the steering stem.
Slide the new one in till it clicks and reconnect the wiring harness.
Put the shrouds back on.
Boom, your done.


That would have easily run in the 300 to 500 range at the dealer, with the price of the new switch at dealer mark-up around 150.

Tested it out and the bright indicator, that didn't come on, now comes on.

The relay is built into the switch assembly.
