Went to the dealership this morning. They had the replacement wheel cap as promised, and spent an hour and a half checking the wheel and suspension components and test driving.
Verdict: the wheel is ever so slightly bent (not enough to see with the naked eye, apparently), but it balanced out to 0 and there's no vibration. No damage to the tire. No damage to suspension components. He said if I wanted to be extra-careful, I could always have an alignment done, but he didn't detect any drifting (and I didn't either), and he said he didn't think it was necessary to spend the money on that until the regular alignment interval at 12,000 miles.
Total charge: about $36, ~$22 for the center wheel cap and ~$12 to rebalance the wheel, plus tax.
Ultimately, I was insanely lucky that's all that happened with how hard I hit that pothole at 65 mph. And I was impressed with the dealership (Butler Kia in Fishers, IN), they were very courteous, understanding, and didn't charge me for their time to check everything -- just the part and the balance. I didn't even buy my car from them. So thumbs up there.
