Default Door handle smart key button

I stumbled upon this quite accidentally today, didn't know if anyone else was aware of it. The manual states if press the button on the drivers side it will unlock the drivers door, if you press the passenger side button it will unlock the all the doors. Well today I accidentally pressed the drivers door button twice in quick succession and it unlocked all of the doors, just as it would if you were holding the smart key and hit the button twice. Nice little feature.

That was written in the manual as well. I didn't see it right away and thought it was odd you couldn't unlock all the doors with the drivers button. But I read it again, and it does state it in the manual. I wish it had an auto lock feature. Where if you walk away with the fob, it automatically locks the car. When I get out with my hands full, that would be a great feature.

Yeah, I don't know where you found it, you have better eyes than me! Then again, the manual is a bit fractured to me in the way the set up the information, it seems to be scattered throughout the book. Frustrating, but then most car manuals are.

An auto lock would be a great feature. God knows its smart enough to squeal when I walk away from it while its running and I have the key in my pocket! Ha!

or just like the remote once to unlock driver door, twice to unlock all.
It is handy.

I'm sure you all already know but if it's unlocked you can just hit that once to lock all of your doors as well.

Programming overrides both the button and the remote. One setting controls both. I have mine set to open all doors on a single button press.
