Default Image/Picture Frame/phonebook

I have a new 2011 Optima Turbo SX. I read in the manual how to put an image into the nav/sat system via the USB port. I put a couple photos in and saved it. I can't figure out how and where the photo will show on the screen. If I put the USB jump drive back in, the photos show up.

What am i doing wrong??? Thanks.

Also, how do i get the contacts from my cell phone to sync with the handsfree...The phone pairs fine but the contacts never download.

HELP!!! Thanks.

I have not saved anything yet on mine but I remember reading in the manual once you shut off the audio the image should show up on the screen? What kind of cell phone do you have? My iphone connects right away and all contacts show up on the screen.

Once I paired my iphone with the car and put in the security code I was good to go. Sometimes when I shut off the car and get into it later I will have to hit the connection on the audio screen for it to recognize that the phone is in the car again. I went to try and put an image on my screen to see if I could figure it out and I cannot even get an image to save on the crazy thing. I can scroll through all the pics on my drive but cannot get one of them to save? I had to quit for awhile better I tore something up. Hopefully someone else can help us out with this

Once you have your image saved and you have selected your image for the display hit done. Now you will need to hold the voice/map button and the on/off button down at the same time and your image should appear in a matter of seconds. This will turn your nav screen off and put your image on the screen. Still have not figured out why your phone is not working through the car's bluetooth system?

Yes

You have to say the commands as follows:

You say "Call Name"
--- system responds... please say a name

You say "Smith, Bob on Cellphone" (or home or office)
--- system responds... would you like to call Smith Bob on Cellphone (you must say last name first)

You say "Yes" (or no)
...System dials number

If you look at the screen, it gives you the commands to say.

Hope that helps.

Thanks JC. I will try that again. Last time I tried all sorts of combinations and the response was "no name"

What threw me was the fact that it's last name first.

You can also push the button and say "Call Smith Bob" or "Call Smith Bob Home".
If you do the first and there are multiple numbers, it will prompt. If there is only 1, it will prompt you to say yes before dialing.

OK, I tried it again and after saying "call name" the response was "there is no name". All of my contacts are synced up.
