i bought some douglas tires at the walmart when my 2014 rio needed tires . they are made in a US plant ,same plant as another high end US tire manufacturer and were only like 59 bucks a tire . been getting good use out of them . we rotate them at every oil change .
Watch out which you choose if you want to preserve the Rio's good MPG. I went with one size over (195 instead of 185) and a quieter tire (Bridgestone Serenity).. mistake. Immediately saw 6mpg loss. Brought them right back to tire place and swapped them out for Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus (stock size 185). VERY happy with them. Same MPG as OEM Kumho tires but a little quieter. Biggest difference is grip. WAY better handling than Kumhos!
195/60R15 is a close match to stock size.
I'm using this size in a snow tire. No adverse issues regarding fuel economy and the car handles and rides way better than the stock 185's
