Default Noise standing stil found.

I found out when the sound pops up and where.
Reversing.
On the brakes.
Handbrake on.
Engine off.
Got out of the car there it was.
When the handbrake was off, the sound was gone.
Now I can reproduce it.

Default Noise from the front dash above 70mph.

Hi

Not sure anyone noticed. Did you get any wind noise/rattle when you drive above 70mph especially at the from of your dash?

Yesterday i happened to drive without my radio on, and over some bumps, etc and test to see if I any get any of those noises around my car...and i found out the above noise, not loud but kinda like wind hissing sound

Anyone

Default check the fold down seats...

I had a similar issue and stripped out the spare tire and all of the items in the trunk and so on and no change. I then needed to load a large item and put the seats down... GONE! so I sprayed Q20 (lubricant, not sure if its avail outside of South Africa) into the locks and on the metal u-shaped clasp that the seat grabs onto to ensure both sides were lubricated and gone!. The other side started last night as I hit a large pothole on my way home, so am off to sort it out.

wondering if anyone else have experienced this?
Hi all, I had the same problem here.... can't stand the noise anymore and sent my car back to the service dealer to look at it... surprisingly, it was solved by them, they told me it was some loose nuts in the tail gate.

Not sure if my issue is related but I was hearing a popping/knocking sound coming from the rear right at low speeds when making a turn, going over speed bumps, or accelerating after gearing from reverse to drive. As far as I could tell, it didn't sound like it coming from the tailgate but more from the pillar or the rear bench. I jiggled both sides of the benches and noticed the larger section was making a knocking noise when I shifted it left/right and front/back. I pulled the seat down and tightened every bolt I could including the housing around the fastener that locks to the U shaped lock. Noting that the seatbelt fastener that secures child seats was in the truck area, I pulled through the bench so it wouldn't hang down towards the rear. So far the noise hasn't returned since I made these minor adjustments.

Same problem with the squeak/rattle when going over humps from the rear... You would think they would have updated the production line for the more recent models so as to avoid common problems...

As for sending it to the dealer, last time I sent my company Sorento for a windshield replacement due to a crack, after i got it I'm getting severe wind noise from the drivers side... I returned it 2 more times, nothing has changed...

They have also managed to:
Scrape the front bumper of my sportage...
Damage the speaker grill on the door of my wifes Veracruz, while fixing teh side pocket...
Scrape the bumper on the veracruz

This is the Main dealer for the country just in case you are wondering, Needless to say I am trying to avoid them if I can do it myself
