2013 Kia rio engine vibration

My car had its 3000km service today and they could not notice the vibration/noise during a test drive. So they got me to go for a drive with one of their technicians and he noticed the vibration at 110 km/h in 6th gear. He was not sure what the problem is but he is going to contact Kia via Techline to get further advice. At least the dealer has recognised the problem and hopefully Kia has an answer.

for all you guys who have the vibration issue, can you please tell us the MM/YY of your cars so we can compile a list of the affected date range. We'll see if it fits in with the dates Kia listed in the TSB for 'engine noise' So far we have:

Does the same vibration occur in other gears at the same RPM? Would have to be the engine in that case. Another cause of speed-specific vibration is having a wheel out-of -round (but still balanced). A quick tyre swap-around will isolate that, but it really does seem to be an engine problem, from what I've read.

No the vibration only occurs in the one gear and not at the same rpm in other gears. The vibration is only apparent when cruising on the highway.

I concur with Owen. It happens in 6th gear at around 65mph or 110kmph. As for the date of MFRG, mine is 11/12 (November 2012).
