Hey Rosscofat. Is there a little page that came in the box with it to at least show it has a 1yr warranty ? I don't think MYSELF that I could buy this without a good sounding deck, good ipod controls, and good running GPS. I have a two year old AVH-P4300DVD Pioneer unit so i wouldn't spend the money unless I had a warrantee on a no-name brand deck.

If there is no warranty and it doesn't function great then this dash kit

would probably be a better fit for myself or any guys that have the ability to use a touchscreen they already have.

But if you could post a better quality video and show the function of all the features (dvd, gps, ipod, radio, bluetooth, etc) then i would love to see more of this.

Yup to me I like to test out the waters. If its a loss oh well. Just got GPS working.. Uses I go map system

I hate proprietary stuff like imacs etc windows you can add new files to change how things work etc

You'd better put Igo Primo version on this divice...superb quality (you can find it in many torrents, regular map, poi and so on upgrades) Another thing is that, there are awesom custom roms for wince7.0.
I think that 800x480 is nice enough - the stock KIA LG navigation which is EUR 1500 worth has the same resolution.

Yup running Igo Primo 2.2 Alao Igo8 I can run many diff versions and maps at any time. The custom Roms for Wince are limited when they have a Car speaker system attached. but I will find some to work with..

The maps are updated every Q. so I am running Q3 right now which has every thing I need to keep up to date.

I will be doing my sub woofer soon and then some sound dent Later on.. I only run 1 10" nothing else is needed in such a small car I may hookup a blind spot camera with the other Camera in option. I can run that in Picture in Picture during GPS running or even watching a DVD

you said you had to try different GPS systems...where did you get them from? Did you load them via usb?

they are loaded a MicroSD card. I select what maps I want. and upload them. I stuck with Igo8 which is free to download if you know where to look along with the maps

I am trying to find a place to go through the fire wall on my sx I can not find a good spot.. There is a big hole but looks over tight and full.. Anyone else have a good picture or place?

would it run off the pre existing power and ground wire ? Maybe check the Kia tech site and check your units power usage and see if it is fine ? I used my last pioneer 7" touchscreen on my 1998 saturns stock wiring and it ran fine. never had a problem.

I was reading that there is a rubber gromet already there that has wires passing through the firewall. If you look where your pedals are, you should be able to see a big group of wires coming out. This is where I read to run the cables...not sure where else tho....hope this helps
