Default Replace indicator stalk

Allright,

I have set off on a brave project My 2012 Kia Rio 1.2 5 door came without front fog light and I have sourced a set of OEMs with wire harness and installed. All well.

However, the indicator stalk at the steering wheel only has switch for rear fogs and therefore I have sourced (eBay is your friend...) an OEM stalk WITH front fog switch. Now my headache is,

- How to remove the existing stalk and install the new one...hope I don't have to remove the steering wheel

- If the factory harness is not plug and play with the new stalk, I will have to figure out what-is-what on the stalks connector pins to locate the one for front fog to control the fog relay and wire it myself

Can anybody give a hint on where to locate documentation or otherwise point me in the right direction?

I had a go at this tonight...I was able to pop the plastic cover off on the top of the steering wheel housing and could unplug the connecter from the existing stalk and slide it into the new without dismantling anything. It showed,

- all existing functions (light, rear fog ect...) work as expected with the new stalk

- I dont know if there is wiring from the connector to the fusebox to control my front fogs...all I see is 'a lot of wires' and don't know which wires controls which functions

- It would be a great help if somebody WITH front fogs could upload a pic of his connector/wires so I can compare with mine and determine above. It is litterally a 1 minute job to pop off the plastic cover and disconnect the connector from the stalk. Please anyone?

I am affraid I will have to take the steeking wheel off to switch stalks, however...

Have you tried the http://www.kiatechinfo.com site? It has documentation including wiring info.
