I purchased my 2013 rio5 sx in Canada, the spare tire and jack are standard for the sx model only. Wonder why up here, Kia does things differently? Not complaining at all ☺

its all how KIA Canada wants to import their models, they specify how they want them equipped, same for KIA Motors in the US. Think of them as too massive wholesale dealers where they in turn sell them to all the other dealers throughout North America in there respective territories.

The compact spare also applies to the EX model too. Similar on my Soul where the 2u and 4u models get the compact spare.

Looks like you live not too far from my location.

Default OEM Kia Rio Spare Tire Kit

Hey guys,

The OEM Kia Rio Spare Tire Kit is hard to come by when you buy your car. It's normal to see the Kia Mobility Kit in there which... only has I believe a tire guage and can of a fix-a-flat solution.

But come to our site and get you OEM Kia Rio Spare Tire Kit. The kit will fit both the Rio 4-Door, as well as the Rio 5-Door. The kit will come with all of the following:
- 15" Factory Spare Wheel
- A fitted and mounted Hankook Tire: T125/80D 15 95m
- Jack
- Jack lift handle
- Lug nut wrench
- Foam Tool Case
- Tire Valve Stem
- Tire Pressure Label
- Instruction Sheet
- Free tire mounting!
- Free shipping!

We've got plenty of pictures of it. Here's an example shot of it.

It's probably better to be on the safe side just in case you get a flat on the highway. We'll even throw in these extra features in:
1. Order $150 or more will get free shipping within the Continental U.S.A.
2. Use this coupon code for 10% off your purchase: codekf

Let us know if we can help!
