Default Kia Rio 2006 need help with tires sizes...

Hi
I have a Kia Rio 2006 with 175/70/14 tires and my neighbor as almost new winter tires he wants to give me but they are 185/60/14,would they fit on my rio? thanks

Yes you can use them. BUT your speedo will be off, it will indicate you are traveling faster then you are. Find out what the diameter of tires are and compare that to the stock diameter of 23.7 for the stock hankook and kumho tires. If you are a city driver there really is no issue what so ever.

There are a number of online gear ratio calculators you can use to figure out the speedo variation. If you cannot find the gear ratios for the rio I have a copy.
