That's cool. I guess there might be places online that do that type of thing. Thanks.

08KiaSorentoLX ... can you post a pic of the emblem? Does the company you went to have a website or do they do orders over the phone? I checked online but all the ones I have found are way expensive and you have to order more than 10. Thanks.

The chrome grill on the korean auto imports website doesn't seem like it has tabs to bold it right on like the "road runs" grill. Do you this it will be a pain if I get it?

That's a pretty good deal. The chrome grill on Korean Auto is $100. I was going to paint it black so that would increase the price as well. I might attempt to make my own out of steel though first. I will definitely post when I complete whichever I do. Also, here is a pic of my Rio5 without the "Rio5" and "SX" emblems. Haven't decided what to do about the Kia emblem yet.

Pretty much. I heard a trade secret that they use dental floss to take off the emblems. I went through a bit of dental floss but it worked pretty well. I couldn't think of a better way to take them off so I went that route. Then I used mineral spirits to get the glue off. I would suggest using Goo Gone or Goof Off though. One of those orange based cleaners. Also, I know in the pictures it looks pretty good, but looking at it in a certain angle, in certain lighting conditions, you can see a fogginess of where the emblems were and can kind of make out what they said. I blame this on the black paint. It probably doesn't show up too much on a silver car. It is pretty cool over all.

As an update. I ordered an emblem from Korean Auto Imports that I will customize and use to replace the stock KIA emblem. School started and tuition and books are killing my wallet, but tinted windows, smoked taillights, and a new grill will be the next upgrades.
