Pretty much. I heard a trade secret that they use dental floss to take off the emblems. I went through a bit of dental floss but it worked pretty well. I couldn't think of a better way to take them off so I went that route. Then I used mineral spirits to get the glue off. I would suggest using Goo Gone or Goof Off though. One of those orange based cleaners. Also, I know in the pictures it looks pretty good, but looking at it in a certain angle, in certain lighting conditions, you can see a fogginess of where the emblems were and can kind of make out what they said. I blame this on the black paint. It probably doesn't show up too much on a silver car. It is pretty cool over all.
As an update. I ordered an emblem from Korean Auto Imports that I will customize and use to replace the stock KIA emblem. School started and tuition and books are killing my wallet, but tinted windows, smoked taillights, and a new grill will be the next upgrades.
