Hi

Kia is a totally new thing to my and thusfar I am more than pleased. Since the weather in Finland now allows me to open windows while driving, without my face freezing off, I have noticed a clinking sound when shifting gears. This may be completely normal. As said I have no previous experience on Kia gearboxes. The sound appears every time I change the gear. Its like clinking sound or a ring. Hard to describe, but anyways if its normal I think you guys now it as well...

Thanks!

The clicking sound, is from the engine bay.
Here comes my bad english....

Open the hood, and find the place where the gearbox handle is.
make a pal, or somebody else make the gear change, then your can here that sound. It has a little clips through it, and under it there is a little ring.
I took the clips off and gave it a rubber ring underneath , and the clicking sound stop.

Picture 1 is no zoom.

Picture 2 is with large zoom

Hope you find it.
