My fiance and I we driving acrosse the plaines of Texas when she pointed out that the "Passenger air bag off" light was on. She tried changing possition in the seat, and taking her weight off and sitting back down. No luck, the light stayed on. After a couple hundred miles, we stopped at a gas station, when we got back in and started it up, the light went off. I took it to the dealer, and they said that if the light was not flashing, there will be no codes to read. They just told me that she needs to sit perfectly straight(tried that), and I need to give her a twinkie. Not too happy with that answer...

The exact same problem here! Although I had to sit on the passenger seat, 30kg heavier than my girlfriend.
