Here is, what may be, a silly question, and please pardon it...I'm 31 with a wife, 2 kids, a mortgage and a dog...I don't have alot of time to look into all this stuff.
I'm thinking of eventually putting aluminum wheels on my Rio.
I would like to use the my stock tires (185/65 R14s).
The manual states aluminum wheels should have the following specs: 5.5J X 14 offset = 46.
I don't necessarily have my mind set on
these but, could somebody tell me if those would work and why or why not. The offsets for the example I picked is 38mm, not 46mm...so I am assuming they will not work because they would be 8mm too far inside of the wheel well. (Possibly the potential exists to rub up against the caliper?) If I'm incorrect...call me a fool and steer me the right way. Also, the ones I picked were 14x6, not 14x5.5...are there issues there?
